Phantom Hosting by Phantom Productions LLC — Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

1. Prohibited Activities
We strictly prohibit any use of our hosting services for illegal, malicious, or harmful activities. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Spamming, phishing, or sending unsolicited/bulk commercial email.
- Distributing malware, ransomware, or harmful software.
- Hacking, exploiting, or attempting unauthorized access to servers, networks, or accounts.
- Engaging in denial-of-service (DoS/DDoS) attacks or stress/booter services.
- Hosting or distributing child sexual abuse material (CSAM), content that exploits or endangers minors, or any form of human trafficking material.
- Infringing intellectual property rights or violating applicable copyright/trademark laws.
- Promoting violence, terrorism, or criminal activity.
2. Resource Usage
Users must not misuse server resources, including CPU, memory, storage, and bandwidth. Prohibited activities include:
- Excessive resource consumption that impacts server stability or performance.
- Running background tasks, scripts, or processes that are resource-intensive and disrupt shared environments.
- Storing non-service-related backups or archives without prior approval.
We may monitor resource usage and take corrective actions (warnings, throttling, suspension) to ensure fair usage across all clients.
3. Content Restrictions
Users are fully responsible for the content they upload or host. Prohibited content includes:
- Defamatory, offensive, obscene, or abusive content.
- Illegal content under U.S. or international law.
- Copyrighted or trademarked material published without proper authorization.
- Content that violates privacy rights or harasses individuals/groups.
We reserve the right to remove or disable content that violates this AUP without prior notice.
4. Security Measures
Users must implement adequate security practices to protect their websites, servers, and accounts. Requirements include:
- Keeping software and plugins up to date.
- Using strong, unique passwords and enabling 2FA where possible.
- Regularly backing up data.
- Not attempting to bypass or interfere with our network security systems.
- Not attempting to access another user’s account or data without authorization.
5. Reporting Violations
If you become aware of violations of this AUP, misuse of services, or security vulnerabilities, please report them immediately to our support team:

6. Consequences of Violation
Violations of this policy may result in:
- Warnings issued to the account holder.
- Temporary suspension of services.
- Permanent termination of the account.
- Legal action if required by law.
We reserve the right to take immediate action if violations threaten our network, servers, or reputation.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Acceptable Use Policy for operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. For significant updates, we will post a notice in the client portal or on our website. It is the user’s responsibility to review this policy periodically.
