About Phantom

We got tired of hosting that needed excuses

Phantom started in 2021 with a Minecraft community, a lagging server, and a support ticket that got answered in four days. We decided the bar was low enough to walk over — and then kept raising it anyway.

2022

Phantom Productions LLC is Born

Phantom Hosting began as part of Phantom Productions LLC in January 2022. What started as a passion project between Bryan Smith and Dylan Marx quickly became a real hosting provider focused on honest pricing, dependable performance, and customer support that actually responds. Our first services centered around game server hosting for growing gaming communities.

2023

Growing Beyond Game Hosting

As more customers joined Phantom Hosting, we expanded our game server lineup while improving our infrastructure and support systems. We invested in better hardware, improved DDoS protection, and focused on creating a hosting experience that was simple, reliable, and backed by real people—not scripted responses.

2024

Building a Better Platform

2024 was dedicated to improving the customer experience. We upgraded our infrastructure, expanded available game server locations, modernized our hosting platform, and continued refining our services. Every improvement was made with one goal in mind: keeping servers online and customers happy.

2025

Expanding Our Services

With a growing customer base, Phantom Hosting expanded beyond game servers by introducing additional hosting solutions including website hosting, Discord bot hosting, domains, and other infrastructure services. We continued building partnerships with trusted datacenter providers while maintaining the personalized support our customers had come to expect.

2026

The Next Generation of Phantom Hosting

This year has been our biggest yet. We launched our brand-new VPS Hosting platform, introduced Dedicated Servers, deployed an upgraded game management panel for improved reliability, expanded our product lineup, redesigned our website, and strengthened our infrastructure and company policies. Every improvement has been made with one purpose: delivering faster, more reliable hosting backed by exceptional customer support.

Today

Still Growing, Still Independent

Today, Phantom Hosting proudly provides game servers, VPS hosting, dedicated servers, website hosting, Discord bot hosting, domains, email hosting, and more. While we've grown tremendously since 2022, our mission hasn't changed: provide reliable hosting, honest pricing, fast support, and a company our customers can trust for years to come.

How we work

Four rules we'd rather lose a sale than break

Own the stack

Hardware, network, filtering, panel — if it can take a customer down, we own it and can fix it. "We're waiting on our upstream provider" is a sentence we structured the entire company to never have to say.

Sell what the graph shows

Specs on our plans describe measured reality: guaranteed cores, honest transfer, real clocks. No overselling, no "up to" doing heavy lifting, no renewal price hiding behind an intro price. If a number is on the page, we can show you the graph behind it.

Support is engineering

Every ticket lands with someone who has shell access and the authority to use it. We don't run a triage theater where the first three replies are copy-paste. First response is measured in minutes, and resolutions are written up so the next person searches instead of asking.

Bad news travels fastest

When something breaks, the first status update ships within fifteen minutes — even if it just says what we don't know yet. Post-incident writeups name root causes plainly. Trust isn't built by never failing; it's built by never hiding.
